Received my skillet and haven't used it yet; however, I look forward to grilling in it. I was slightly disappointed because it didn't come with the lid as shown. After reviewing again, I realized that it did not state that it came with the lid. It was shown with the skillet in the book. Hopefully, I can purchase the lid separately.

I love this skillet.I love cooking with it.This skillet is great for cooking & ready to use. I was disappointed because it does not come with the lid like I thought maybe I did not read the description good enough.

I have loved cast iron skillets since I was a teen when my Mammaw taught me to cook; but I never thought I'd have need of a ribbed skillet. Having now used one, I realize what a great asset to my cookware collection this skillet is! It's truly a 'required' item for any cook!!

I love cast iron,this is a great pan, I use it for all my meat coking, grill cheese too, and cooking bacon in it is great, stays off the grease. We can take this pan when we go camping this pan will work everywhere. In the oven too. It is very heavy, but worth it. The picture has another piece besides the pan, I never received it from Grande Pointe if it was offered with it it should come with it, if not should not be pictured.
